C'EST MOI JI​

JI was born in Korea and she moved four times total. She was born in Seoul but she moved to Busan where she spent her childhood. Then, in adolescence, she moved to Gyeonggi-do.

When JI was in sixth grade in primary school, she was interested in high-heels because, she saw Beyonces’ DIVA music video. Whilst Beyonce danced, she was wearing high-heels and she looked like she was standing on her toes. After that, JI was captivated by heels.

 

She wants to improve and learn footwear, also to be a professional high-heels designer such as, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik and Saint Laurent, so, she decided to learn skills and study Footwear Design at De Montfort University. She was interested in Modern Art, for instance, Minimalism, Abstract Expressionism, Impressionism, Classic, Simple and DE STIJL. She wants to make new shoes using these 6 types of Modern Art.
